Sam is a Partner at Blackbird Ventures, a technology venture capital fund backing ambitious founders building global businesses from Australia and New Zealand. Blackbird was an early investor in some of Australia’s biggest startup successes – Canva, Zoox, Safety Culture and CultureAmp. Sam’s investment areas of interest are the future of food, healthcare and bottom-up SaaS. She is passionate about diversity in tech and venture and spear-headed the release of the Model Code of Conduct for the Startup Community. Prior to joining Blackbird she was a startup founder, a product manager and a lawyer.
